Dear SAP Gurus,
I'm facing a strange problem with our customer's system: ECC6.0 EHP6, they always posted depreciation only at year end, also sometimes posted manual depreciation for extraordinary reasons but always at year-end.
Now they need to post mid-year depreciation and there is no time to adjust the calculation keys to obtain specific target values so they want to use the well known route of posting manual depreciation.I set OAYR accordingly in area 01 to post every six months and checked in Asset Explorer that amounts shown after posting with ABMA are as expected.
Problem is that AFAB doesn't post anything to GL until period 12 even if the manual depreciation was posted in period 6.
I have a very remote experience of using transaction ABMA and I don't remember whether you can post in GL during the year. Is this a standard limit of the system or maybe something has to be reconfigured?
