I am trying to implement special rounding for rounding of annual leave entitlement.
Example:
Employee joins service on 01 Oct 2014. The base entitlement is 21 days, from 01 Jan 2014 to 31 Dec 2014.
Based on his join date, the exact leave entitlement would have been 3/12 * 21 = 5.25 days.
Current system settings would have rounded it down to 5.00 days, but I would like to round it up to 5.50 days instead.
Thus I made the change at Time Management >> Time Data Recording and Administration >> Managing Time Accounts Using Attendance/Absence Quotas >> Calculating Absence Entitlements >> Rules for Generating Absence Quotas >> Define Rules for Rounding Quota Entitlements:
And also at Time Management >> Time Data Recording and Administration >> Absences >> Absence Catalog >> Absence Counting >> Rules for Absence Counting (New) >> Define Counting Rules >> Inserted Z0 in the Rounding Rule field
I had tried to select "Multiply First" and "Round First", but both do not work.
In all cases which I tested, the system rounds it down to 5.00 days.
Greatly appreciate if you guys can advise where I had missed out on the configuration to make it work.
