The created Basic Pay Wage type is not showing up in the Characteristics screen.

Hi Fiends,

This is my first ever question, i have being taking a lot of help through this forum.. Thanks one and all.

I have the list of the steps that needs to be configured for Payroll ...a step like

IMG->Personnel Management-> Personnel Administration->Payroll Data->Basic Pay->Wage Types-> Check Wage Type Catalog->Check Wage Type Text

As i am going through the steps further... i got stuck with the below mentioned step ... where i cannot see my Basic Wage type that i have created earlier... And ther is no option to click New entries button unlike in other screens.
