Open SAP Hana, first unit

Hey there,

I'm interested in SAP Hana and I wanted to do the first unit this evening.

Being new in the world of the programmers I already have a problem with the Java Version.

The console says:

java version "1.8.0_31"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_31-b13)

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.31-b07, mixed mode)

JAVA version is not correct. The supported versions are 1.6 and 1.7.

Does it mean that my Java version is newer than the expected version and I have to uninstall the actual one?

Sorry guys, but maybe someone can help?!
